Greyson is almost eight weeks old. He is growing non-stop and out of control. We love and adore him...I call him chunky monkey. He has been smiling since he was about two weeks, but now his smiles are much more vibrant and last longer.

I am going back to the second job next week. I am used to being a house wife, but the extra money will be nice.
Chris and I are busy with planning our wedding. We have a long ways to go with the planning and it is tedious already. I am so indecisive; luckily Chris brings a lot to the table and has his own ideas and he is supportive of what I want (which is nice)!

4 weeks old!

Greyson is four weeks tomorrow. I can't believe how quickly he is growing and how fast the time is going. The first week seemed to stretch on forever and now the days roll by. I can barely even remember what happened today, but it is almost over...I guess I have vacuumed floors and clean laundry to show for it. Greyson is posing with his four month old cousin Graley. We sometimes give him mohawks...because we can.

Baby Grey is smiling more everyday. Sometimes he even throws out a smile without provocation. He can hold up his head for a long time and moves it from side to side to check out whats around. He still sleeps a lot, but he is awake for three+ hours a day. It seems like just when I want to get something done, he wakes up. Then I have to accomplish what I need to do with one hand. It makes one appreciate a one armed man.

Chris and I are starting to get our lives back a little too. We are going on a "date" Saturday, if we can find a babysitter. Mostly though, we just enjoy hanging out with the baby. I thank God for him everyday. He is in a way our little savior, he kept us together when we were almost a world apart. I've never prayed in Thanksgiving so much in my life. I feel like all is as it should be!!

BABY GREY

Greyson was 6lbs. 11oz. and 19 1/2 inches. I'm feeding so I can't write much, but here are photos of baby with family and me on my due date...huge. It looks like our cat could probably eat the baby...fat kitten, little baby.

Officially Overdue

One day overdue...it doesn't seem like such a big deal, but it is. I want my body back...I don't mean my stomach, I mean my body; my bladder, my hips, my back, etc. I think I may be anxious and excited too. I just want to meet the little fella.

I read somewhere that you should make plans everyday so that you aren't sitting and waiting so much. It seems like since I have quit working my days are so long and I am useless. I guess I should enjoy not working and the time I have left with just Chris. Godspeed baby! Love, mommy.

10 days and counting

So we are in the final strech. My co-workers, friends, and family made a pool for when the baby is coming. The first d-day guess was December 10th and so with the first day of guessing when baby Greyson would come...my anxiety has and now I'm constantly praying and wishing for a sign of labor. I really just want his birthday as far from Christmas as heavenly possible. Sure, it would be an honor to share such a sacred day, but what a pain in the butt and a bummer for him!! 10 days it is unbelievable that he is nearly hear.
The crib and hence the nursery are not done; which is fine considering he won't need it for awhile. But sort of disapointing to not be as prepared as I would like. And daddy problably will be less inclinded to want to work on the crib when he has a beautiful baby to play with and dote over...
I bought bum genius diapers to try out; the reviews rave and so I hope that I will too. I really don't want the economical or environmental strain of disposable so I will make these work. I let you know how they go Kara.
The nature scene is my eighth month and the last one is one week into month 9. Still no strech marks, so cross your fingers and knock on wood!

So to avoid the anxious await of baby...I have started planning my wedding. I posted a few of the wedding dresses I have been looking at. WE are getting married the third week of May in Maui.

3o weeks!

I can't believe that the baby could be here in only 8 weeks. Or as many as 12!

I have appointments now every 2 weeks to check on Greyson. We had an appointment today and his heartbeat was fast, 150 bpm. Maybe it was the areobics he was performing in my stomach.

I love being pregnant. I've gained 13 pounds as of today and I feel great.
